Aaron, you are likely to get some heat from us Pentecostals/Charismatics over this. You've written a thought-provoking message. On the day of Pentecost, they were all in one place with one accord. It seems we've forgotten the "accord." We do not live according to the Bible. We do not live according to Jesus' examples. The closest we may get is owning an Accord. I applaud you and felt sad, actually while reading this. Whether Mennonite or kryptonite (no disrespect meant), we must do better or else. When the Day of Judgment comes, I pray many of us are not caught by surprise. God bless you! And Aaron, if you get any flack, you know why. Guilty pigs squeal the loudest!

Hi Aaron, Thanks for this thought-provoking article. Have you ever read "The Irresistible Revolution" by Shane Claiborne or "Searching for God Knows What" by Donald Miller? Both excellent reads along these very same lines!

I've read Irresistible Revolution, but not Miller's book. Thank you for the suggestion. Thank you Avis for your comment as well.

You're welcome, Aaron. I forgot to say Happy 30! May you be blessed with many more birthdays!
